New look Gallery

I've finally got round to finishing my gallery. As well as fitting in better with the rest of the site it now has image descriptions and flashy Javascript effects. All that's left now is the links section which should be coming along shortly.

New Tutorials Section

As you may have noticed I've added a new Tutorials section to the website. To start things off I've written a short article on choosing the right typeface for a design project. I have a few more ideas in the pipeline, but I'm still busy at work so try to be patient.

Graphics Gallery Updated

I've completed a number of graphic design projects since I began working at Coinadrink in January. In fact I've had so much on that I've been neglecting my site again. That’s about to change however as there’s lots of lovely content on the way. To start things off I'm updating the graphics section of my gallery with some of my recent design work.

I’ve been doing some 3D stuff at work. There is a new image in the gallery if you fancy a look, just a test shot at the mo but I’m getting better all the time.

MacBook Air – All Style no Substance

I’ve been holding out for a new laptop for a while now. I was hoping Apple was going to announce something to fit the bill at Macworld, but it looks like my hopes have been dashed. Sure the MacBook Air is very thin, but £1,200 for a 1.6Ghz CPU, 80g HDD and no DVD.... It’s thin because there’s nothing in it but hot air.

Graphic Designer

That’s right... I am now a Graphic Designer! Just in time too, I was close to losing my mind in my old job. I couldn’t ask for more really, the hours are great, and as I’m the only designer there, I’ve got the freedom to do things my own way.

With all this free time on my hands I can finally take my artwork to the next level...

New Blog!

I’ve finally got round to making this page into a proper blog, so no more excuses on the update front. While I’m at it, I’m going to have a mess around with the CSS, and the overall look of the site may change a little as well.

The site’s not the only thing changing either, I’ve just got a new job as a graphic designer but more on that later.
